Observance of Yaum-E-Tashakur (Day of National Gratitude) to pay homage to the people & Armed Forces of Pakistan

I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to convey that in recognition of Pakistan’s resolute and successful defense during recent hostilities, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to observe (Day of National Gratitude) on Friday, 16th May, 2025. This day is being observed as a tribute not only to the valiant Armed Forces of Pakistan for safeguarding our national sovereignty, but also to the resilient people of Pakistan, whose unity, composure, and patriotic spirit embodied the true strength of our nation. You are, therefore, requested to organize the enclosed set of activities in your respective institutions in a dignified and respectful manner to commemorate this occasion.
